pale 'n bright

Had quite the sunny weekend and didn't need any coat, but winter is not over yet... And I'm still looking for great winter pieces and especially amazing sweaters. I know spring collections are already in stores but I am not tempted (not even slightly!) and pretty happy to enjoy the rest of what winter has in store.
Went for a neutral and light colored cable knit sweater with a matching silk blouse to show of nicely my beloved bright red skinnies. gotta love red! Still in search for a great sweater or an amazing coat with a greatly reduced price tag - If you find something like that online you are more than welcome to send over a link... משהו לא בסדר עם המקלדת שלי ופרק חדש של once upon a time קורא לי אז נעשה את זה קצר... זה מה שלבשתי ביום שבת, כולל מעיל בצבע דומה לחלק העליון שבסופו של דבר התגלה כלא הכרחי ונשאר במושב האחורי של האוטו. על אף סוף השבוע השמשי ולמרות שכבר קולקציות חדשות (קיציות, צבעוניות ופרחוניות) בחנויות אני ממש לא ממהרת הפעם. בא לי ליהנות מהחורף עד תומו ואני עדיין קונה בגדי חורף ומפנטזת שעוד אצליח לאתר באחת מחנויות האופנה המקוונות האהובות עלי איזה מעיל מדהים במחיר סייל...

החורף הנוכחי הוא ללא ספק החורף הגדול של הסוודרים, והפריט הזה עשה אצלי קאמבק רציני. מפריט לבוש עבה ומסורבל אפשר לומר שהסוודר הפך בחודשים האחרונים לגולת הכותרת של המלתחה. עזבו אתכם מקרדיגנים או מסריגים דקיקים, אני מדברת על סריגים צ'אנקיים, עבים, צמריריים ומחממים עם צווארון מעוגל (אף פעם לא הייתי טיפוס של צווארון וי ואני גם לא משתגעת על גולפים). כאמור, המצוד אחרי הסוודר המושלם הבא עוד לא הסתיים ועד שהחורף לא נגמר, זה לא נגמר!

fall prep

This is my fashionable recipe for the chilly days we have experienced here lately. I just throw on a little grey sweater, underneath it a white blouse which functions as an additional layer and also adds the cute peter pan collar, which taked the sweater to a whole different place. As a bottom I chose a tan leather skirt and similar color lace up shoes. Finally added my new leopard tote which resonated some of the outfit colors and adds a cool and edgy vibe to it.

זה המתכון האופנתי שלי לימים הקרירים שפוקדים אותנו: סוודר אפור ומתחתיו חולצה מכופתרת שמתפקדת גם על תקן שכבה נוספת וגם בתור תוספת צווארון מעוגל שמשנה לחלוטין את המראה של הסוודר. לזה הוספתי חצאית חומה ונעלי שריכה בגוון דומה ולסיום תיק מנומר שהינו נוח ביותר לתפעול (מהתיקים האלה שאין להם סגירה למעלה ופשוט זורקים לתוכם / שולפים מבפנים כל מה שרוצים) ומהווה תוספת צבעונית שמתכתבת עם חלק מהצבעים באאוטפיט אבל גם מוסיפה טוויסט מגניב משלה.

כמה חיכיתי ללבוש את הסוודר הזה... הבאתי אותו מחו"ל באמצע אוגוסט (יחד עם החצאית שמצולמת כאן ועוד איזה מיליון כמה דברים) והוא אחד הפריטים שהכי קרצו לי בארון וממש התגרו בי במשך שלושה חודשים ארוכים. נו טוב, סופסוף הגענו לרגע המאפשר ללבוש אותו. בשעות הערב... אבל אני לא מתלוננת!
את הנעליים הוספתי למלתחה לפני זמן מה, בעיקר מתוך המחשבה שרצועת קרסול היא דבר שאיננו מספיק מוערך ולא מקבל תשומת לב בכמות הנאותה (אצלי בארון ובכלל) ומבחינתי משהו שמוסיף כל כך הרבה לחינניות ולעדינות של הרגל ראוי לפחות לתמונת תקריב הולמת.

Oh how I've waited to wear this sweater... I brought it from my trip to Warsaw in the middle of August (among the leather skirt in this outfit and a million few more other items) and it is one of the garments that really taunted my from the back of the closet, until winter (if you can call this winter) finally arrived here. But, no complaints - me and Mr. sweater have finally united!
I added these shoes to my wardrobe a while ago, mainly since I came to the realization that ankle straps are way underrated (in my closet and in general) and such lovely things that adds so much to the delicacy and beauty of the legs should be celebrated and at least receive a proper close up.
