the midi pencil skirt

נסיון ראשון בלבוש לעונת מעבר.
המקסימום שהצלחתי כרגע זה לנעול נעלי סניקרס סגורות.
ועוד לא קניתי שום פריט חורפי עד כה.
האמת שכבר יותר מחודשיים לא קניתי כלום בשום חנות, ככה זה כשיש לך חנות בגדים משלך, ואת פשוט יכולה לגשת לסטוק ולבחור מה שבא לך. די כיף!

מניחה שהתאבון לארוך יבוא עם ירידת הטמפרטורות, כרגע לא דחוף לי להצטייד בסוודרים או חלילה מעילים.
ובמקומות קרירים יותר - שבוע האופנה פריז מתקרב לסיומו.
היה מעניין כרגיל, אך פחות מלהיב ומרגש ממה שחשתי בעונות קודמות. אבל לא נראה לי שהבעיה בפריז או בתצוגות, מסוג הדברים שאומרים עליהם "זה לא אתם, זה אני".
אני שוב באיזה shift אופנתי, מתחברת לכיוון מנימליסטי ונקי מאי פעם (לפחות בהיסטורית הסטייל שלי), כך שהקרקס האופנתי הזה לא ממש מצליח להרטיט את מיתרי ליבי.

Hi there!
This is my first attempt of transitional dressing.
The warmest item I have managed to wear is sneakers or shoes that are not sandals, and I gotta tell you, we're not there yet. too hot.
Haven't started buying any fall stuff yet, and mainly dressing up from the stock of my own shop LOVES, and I have to say it's quite fun.

I'm currently into minimalistic and simple looks, clean lines, no bold prints, midi length skirts, and sporty and comfy shoes. This is the fashionable spot I'm at, at the moment.
We'll see what kind of shift the cold seasons will bring, if they will bring any.
Can't wait to find out!

wear to work

get the look: equipment color-block blouse / j crew pencil skirt / dvf leopard pumps / YSL muse two

So, since the main thing I do these days is work (and no play) I decided to feature my idea of a nice outfit for work. I like to go to work looking clean and polished, even if I'm not (just kidding!) and I think a collared blouse and pencil skirt give just the right look.
I don't own many pencil skirts, but even one in a good basic color can be enough. I can also see myself using this skirt a lot during the next season since it goes along well with other colors, plus burgundy is THE color to wear the upcoming fall and winter.
Added a little "spice" with these leopard d'orsay pumps I found on eBay a few months ago. I was on the hunt for pony-hair leopard pumps with a reasonable heel, and reasonably priced and after a long search stumbles upon these babies. Love them!

מאחר ומה שאני בעיקר עושה בימים אלה הוא לעבוד, ולאור כמה מבקשות הקוראים, החלטתי להציג אאוטפיט נחמד לעבודה. תמיד כיף ללכת לעבודה במראה מדוגם ונקי - ואין פריטי אופנה שיכולים לשוות את המראה הזה יותר מהקומבינציה של חולצה מכופתרת וחצאית עיפרון.
אין ברשותי הרבה חצאיות עפרון, אבל אני חושבת שחצאית אחת (או שתיים) טובה ובגוון בסיסי יכולה לעשות את העבודה. אני רואה את עצמי משתמשת הרבה בחצאית הזו גם בחורף הקרוב - לא מזיק שבורדו הולך להיות הגוןן החם של העונה הקרה.
למראה המסודר הוספתי תבלין מנומר בדמות נעלי עקב בעלות חרטום מחודד - הנעליים הנ"ל נמצאו באיביי לאחר חיפושים ארוכים ומייגעים. זהו דגם של זארה (ישן) שבכלל לא ידעתי על קיומו ואני ממש שמחה שהתגלה לי. ועוד עם עקב סביר, שמבחינת זארה זה די נדיר.

מצפה בקוצר רוח לחופשת הקיץ הקרבה שלי, ובעיקר לעונה הבאה שתביא עמה הרבה השראה אופנתית והכי חשוב את האפשרות הנכספת להתלבש בשכבות. בינתיים אני מסתפקת בצבעוניות עשירה ועמוקה המתקבלת על ידי שילוב של כחול כהה ובורדו, שמתאימה אולי לימים קרירים יותר אבל עושה את העבודה בלשגר אותי מנטלית לסתיו לכמה רגעים.

Seriously looking forward to my upcoming summer vacation (haven't taken one yet and I REALLY need it) and to the upcoming seasons that surely will bring lots of inspiration and most importantly the chance to dress in layers. In the mean time I settle for an outfit in a nice rich color combination of blue and burgundy which may be more suitable for a cooler climate but certainly does the trick in transporting me mentally to fall, even if for only a few seconds.
