outfit of the day

היום החלטתי לאמץ לחיקי את טרנד הקיץ הבלתי נלאה, הלא הוא color blocking (מי שלא סגור על העניין יכול להתחיל לעיין בנושא כאן) ויצאתי מהבית לבושה בחולצת משי סגלגלה חצאית מיני ירוקה ולסיום, נעליים מנומרות. הנעליים לא ממש קשורות לטרנד הספציפי הזה, אך הן נראו לי כמו התבלין האידאלי והנדרש לכל הסיפור.
החולצה שאני לובשת כבר נראתה כאן מספר פעמים - בפוסט הזה וגם ברשומה הזאת - ואני מקווה שייצא לי להציג כאן כמה תמונות אאוטפיט ראויות של מרקחת היום האופנתית הזו, בלי סימני וקמטוטי הישיבה הממושכת על הכיסא ובמצברוח סופשבועי חופשי ומאושר.

Today I decided to embrace the biggest trend of this season, yep you've guessed it: color-blocking (If you're not really up to date you can start looking into it here) and left the house wearing a purple silk blouse paired with a green mini skirt. Also added a pair of pony hair leopard shoes, which are not really a part of the trend but I thought would make the perfect finishing touch. And so they did.
You have already seen this blouse here a few times - in this post and also that one - and I hope I'll manage to take proper outfit photos of this ensemble, maybe during the weekend. Have a good week!

כמה אאוטפיטים שלבשתי במהלך הימים האחרונים בורשה (מינוס המעיל הענק). הפעם מצאתי את העיר במזג אויר שונה לחלוטין מאשר בביקורי הקודם לפני כחצי שנה וזו הפעם הראשונה שחוויתי על בשרי מספר דו ספרתי של מעלות מתחת לאפס, אבל אין ספק שזו היתה חוויה מרעננת, גם מבחינה אופנתית.
שם המשחק במזג אוויר כזה, כאשר בפנים מחומם ובחוץ קור כלבים, הוא שכבות - קונספט חביב עלי מאוד, כידוע. באאוטפיט הראשון המחמם העיקרי הוא הסוודר, שאני לא בטוחה שאפשר לראות היטב את הדיטיילים שלו אבל הוא אחד הסוודרים היפים והאיכותיים ביותר שיש לי (שילוב של כותנה, קשמיר ומשי), סרוג בעבודה יפהפייה עם עיניים "פרומות" פה ושם ומחמם ביותר.
את האאוטפיט השני הרכבתי עם סוודר ישן וחביב וחולצה בצבעוניות משמחת ואביבית משהו, שכיפתרתי עד הקצה בשביל הלוק וגם מפאת הקור. המגפונים נותנים כאן הופעה שניה כי התעקשתי לארוז "לייט" והפעם אפילו הצלחתי, וכשחושבים על זה שוב, גם אם כל הארון היה עומד לרשותי סביר להניח שהייתי בוחרת בזוג הזה.

These are a couple of outfits I wore in the last few days in Warsaw (minus my big and boring coat). This time I encountered completely different weather than in my last visit, about six months ago, but I still enjoyed it - fashionably challenging and all...
For the first outfit I chose one of the warmest and high quality sweaters I own. I'm not sure you can really see the beautiful details and lovely work, but trust me it is gorgeous and I'm so glad I scored it for 90 percent off (!!) in the Luisa Via Roma outlet store.
The second outfit is composed of an old and beloved cardigan with a buttoned blouse which I buttoned all the way up, for the look and also because it was cold... booties on repeat since I wanted to pack light (and even succeeded this time), but come to think about it, even if I had my whole shoe closet with me I would have picked this exact pair.

אפשר לומר שאני כבר מוכנה לחורף, לפחות מבחינת גווני הפריטים שאני נמשכת אליהם אשר נוטים לכיוון החום ולצבעי ירוק זית. עכשיו כל שנותר הוא לחכות שהטמפרטורות יעשו את שלהן, ומהיכרותי הטובה עם המדינה בה אני חיה זה לא הולך לקרות כל כך מהר אז אני אאלץ לעשות את המעברים שלי בצורה חד צדדית, רק בקצר בינתיים.
ירוק זית הוא אחד הצבעים היותר אטרקטיביים בעיני כעת ולשמחתי עברו מספיק שנים משירותי הצבאי כדי שלא יישאר בי שמץ של מטען שלילי כלפי הצבע הזה. אני מחכה בקוצר רוח לרגע המתאים שבו יהיה אפשר לשלוף ג'קט דק בסגנון parka, כמו זה למשל (אל דאגה, יש כבר שניים דומים שממתינים בסבלנות בארוני לרגע הקריאה), ולהתחיל להפעיל את הקסם אשר מכונה "לבוש בשכבות".
מלבד ירוק זית וחום אני תרה אחרי גווני הקאמל, שמבחינתי מתחברים לבדים צמריריים ועבים יותר שנוכל ללבוש רק כשיהיה ממש ממש קר אז זה כרגע בגדר תוכניות לעתיד הרחוק... אולי אציג פה בקרוב אילו פריטים שמתי לעצמי על הכוונת, מאחר ונראה לי שדי נסגרתי על מה הולכים להיות מלבושי לעונה הקרה.
תודה רבה לאריאלה, שאוטוטו יוצאת לירח דבש (תעשי חיים! נתגעגע אליך...) ושיהיה סופ"ש נעים לכולם!

You can say I'm pretty much ready for winter, at least from the color palette of garments I'm attracted to, which is mainly olive greens and browns. And now all there is to do is wait for the temperatures to drop, but where I live it's not going to happen so quickly, so I'm going to have to make my transitions unilaterally, and in short clothes for the mean while.
Olive green is one of the most interesting colors for me right now and I can't wait for the right moment where I can take a nice parka jacket, such as this one, (there are already two similar ones in my closet, waiting patiently for their debut) and start the magic of layering.
Other than olive green and brown shades I'm searching for camel hues, but these shades are more attached, in my opinion, to wool fabrics and knits so right now it seems like something in the far future, nothing I can wear anytime soon...

עליונית בסגנון קימונו פנלופה ומוניקה קרוז למנגו, שורטס זארה, גופיה השאלתי מאמא, חגורה השאלתי מאריאלה, תיק ונעליים H&M, משקפי שמש מהסופרפארם

כמעט תמיד פריטים מהליין של פנלופה ומוניקה קרוז לרשת האופנה הספרדית מנגו הדיפו בעיני ניחוח מסוים של נפוטיזם (אין לי שום דבר נגד השחקנית הספרדייה היפהפיה, אבל לא ברור לי מה היא בדיוק מבינה בעיצוב אופנה וכנראה שגם אחותה הנחמדת לא היתה זוכה בליין נחשק במנגו, על שמה, אלמלא היתה אחותה...). עם זאת, אחרי שנתקלתי בעליונית המשי הזו בסגנון קימונו שהנפיקו השתיים, אני חוזרת בי מכל הטלת דופי ורבב - היא פשוט מושלמת ואוורירית להפליא! פנלופה ומוניקה שולטותתתתת!!
כפי שניתן לראות, אני ממשיכה לשובב את נפשי בקיץ זה על ידי ניסיונות ללבוש יותר משכבה אחת, בתנאי שהשכבה העליונה תהיה קלילה עד כמה שאפשר. ואחרי הפונצ'ו התחרתי והעדין, הגיע תורו של ג'קט הקימונו הדקיק. בעיקרון העליונית הזו הגיעה יחד עם חגורת בד המאפשרת לקשור אותה בתור חולצה אך החלטתי לוותר עליה וללבוש את הפריט כג'קט פתוח, גדול מידות (oversized) ומתבדר ברוח.
לגבי שאר מרכיבי האאוטפיט, ובכן, לא יכולתי להסתמך על המלתחה הפרטית שלי במהלך הסופ"ש ולא ממש הבאתי יותר מדי דברים איתי לחיפה, אז נעזרתי בהשאלות מאמי ומאריאלה והוכחתי לעצמי שגם בהיעדר הארון הענקי והמפוצץ שלי אני מסתדרת מצוין. יש בזה משהו מאוד משחרר.
תודה לאריאלה על הצילומים ולא תודה ליתושים שחגגו הפעם על כף רגלי השמאלית. המשך סופ"ש ושבוע טוב לכל!

Almost every time I checked them out, items from the Penelope and Monica Cruz for Mango line had an added vibe of nepotism in my view. I mean, I have nothing against the gorgeous Spanish actress and mega star, but, come on, what does she really know about fashion design? And I guess her lovely sister wouldn't have got this sought after gig at Mango if she wasn't her sister... BUT, after I came across this amazing kimono style top this duo has brought to Mango, I totally take back everything I just said and any flaw I tried to find. It is just perrrrrfect! Penelope and Monica rule!!
As you can see, I keep amusing myself and challenging myself to wear more than one layer in the scorching Israeli summer (without suffering of course), and after trying the lovely and lacey summer poncho, it was time for this light-weight kimono jacket. It actually came with a fabric belt to tie as a top but I decided to put that aside and wear it as an open oversized jacket.
Regarding the rest of my outfit, I couldn't realy on my private wardrobe this weekend since I'm spending it away in Haifa, and I didn't bring too much stuff up here with me, so I had a few things borrowed from my mom and from Ariela (blog photographer, sister in law, etc.). I was also able to prove to myself that I can do just fine even without my huge closet at my disposal. That feels very liberating...
Thanks to Ariela for the pics and no thanks to the mosquitos who munched on my left foot this time (hence the band-aid...).
