שמלה טופשופ, סנדלי פלטפורמה מנגו - dress topshop, platform sandals mango

נפלה עלי רוח סופר מבסוטה היום, כפי שאתם יכולים לראות, אולי בגלל החתונה המתוקה שנכחתי בה אתמול (ופגשתי בה כמה עלמות חמד + לא היה דק, הידד! טוב, גם לא באתי עם עקבי סטילטו אבל זה תמיד משמח לגלות שאין דק, לא?) ואולי בגלל חתונה אחרת שעומדת על הפרק ומרגשת אותי מאוד.
לפיכך, החלטתי לנסות ולהפיג את האפרוריות השורה מסביב באמצעות שמלה בצבע אפרסק ולקחת את הקרירות המסוימת בצורה חיובית, כעוד הזדמנות לנעול סנדלים עם גרביים ולהינות מזה. בכל הפעמים האחרונות שציוותתי גרביים וסנדלים אמרתי לעצמי שזו בטח הפעם האחרונה שמתאפשר לי לעשות זאת, לפני שנהיה חם מדי, אך בכל פעם התבדיתי מחדש. ואין לי שום בעיה עם זה!
לגבי השמלה, היא לא חדשה במיוחד (אבל לא הופיעה כאן בבלוג עד עתה) ודבר נוסף שאיננו חדש הינו החיבה היתרה שלי לשמלות ולחצאיות. לאחרונה שמתי לב שאני כמעט ולא לובשת מכנסיים וקצת חבל לי על כמה זוגות מכנסי הסקיני האהובים שקצת נזנחו ושוכבים כאבן שאין לה הופכין בפינת הארון. נראה מה אפשר לעשות בנדון...

I was super cheerful today, as you can see, maybe because of the sweet wedding I attended yesterday (in which I met some lovely ladies + there was no deck, yay! well, I didn't wear stilletos to the event so I didn't have to worry anyway) and maybe it was because of an upcoming wedding I'm very excited about.
Therefore, I tried to brighten up the pretty gloomy and grey weather outside by wearing a peach colored dress. I also took the fact that it was a bit chilly today as a good thing because it allowed me to wear sandals with socks yet again (usually impossible in the Israeli summer).
Regarding the dress, it's not really new (I got it about 3 months ago but it didn't appear on the blog until now) and another 'not new' thing is my affection for dresses and skirts. I recently noticed that I hardly wear pants anymore, and all my favorite pairs of skinny jeans have been neglected in the corner of my closet. I'll see what I can do about it...

שאריות מצולמות מאחד הימים היותר כיפיים בשבוע האחרון. בעיקר בגלל החברה המלבבת אבל גם עקב תגלית הנעליים האלה במעבה הארון. על אף שנרכשו לפני כשנתיים הרגישו כמו חדשות כשהתגלו מחדש והעלו חיוך על פני. כמובן שמיהרתי מיד לנעול אותן, לא בלי שחקניות החיזוק של האביב, שלוקטו בעת גיחה קצרצרה ושגרתית לסופרמרקט ובין עוגיות התה לגליל הניילונים לפח היוו הפתעה חביבה ביותר. הדברים הקטנים של החיים...

Photographed leftovers from one of the funnest days lately. Especially because of the lovely company but also due to rediscovering these sandals in the bottom of my closet (shopping your own wardrobe is the best!). And although these were purchased about two years ago they felt like brand new when rediscovered and put a big smile on my face. Of course I wore them immediately, but not without socks, which I picked up during a routine trip to the supermarket, somewhere between the box of tea cookies and the roll of garbage bags. Oh, the little things in life...

חולצה מנגו, חצאית וגרביים טופשופ (מעונות קודמות), סנדלים זארה

מכירים את המשפט: "כל מה שאתה צריך נמצא ממש מתחת לאף שלך?" ובכן, הוא היה נכון לגבי בסופ"ש האחרון. במרחק של דקה וחצי הליכה מביתי מצאתי חצר פנימית מרהיבה ביופיה ועל אף שמדובר בשטח פרטי של בניין מגורים ביקשתי רשות לבצע צילומי אופנה קצרצרים ולא מזיקים ונעניתי בחיוב. הידד!

החצר שייכת לבניין קטן ומשותפת לכל דייריו ואני מניחה שכזו גינה יפהפייה מעלה באופן מידי את רמת החיים של דיירי הבית כי רק מישיבה קצרצרה על הספסל האדמדם והתבוננות בירוק ובפריחה שמסביב התמלאתי אנרגיות חיוביות ומצב רוח טוב. ואפילו התעורר בי יצר גננות קל...

כהרגלי, השתדלתי להיטמע בטבע באמצעות אאוטפיט הכולל חצאית ורדרדה וחולצת משי בעלת הדפס פרחוני שרכשתי בשליש ממחירה המקורי (כמה נחמד שיש מנגו עודפים בחיפה, עוד דבר שנמצא ממש מתחת לאף...) לסיום קינחתי בפטיש האחרון - סנדלים עם גרביים, הפעם בווריאציה של גרביים וורדרדות שכיווצ'צ'תי במקום למשוך מעלה לכיוון הברך.

מאחלת לכולם שבוע טוב וחופש נעים ונראה לי שזה הזמן גם להוסיף חג אביב שמח!

Do you know the sentence: "everything you need is right under your nose"? well, it definitely applied to me this weekend. In just a minute and a half walk from my house I found this amazing inner garden, and although it is private property of an apartment building I asked for permission and got to do my little photoshop in this place. Yay!
So this garden belongs to an apartment building and is shared by all of its tenants and I'm pretty sure such a beautiful garden automaticaly raises the standard of living there because from only a brief sitting on the cute red bench I got filled with good energy!
As usual lately I put on a spring-y outfit compiled of a pale pink skirt and silk floral top (bought for a third of its original price, thanks to MANGO Outlet, another thing which is right under my nose here in Haifa). Also got to wear my latest obsession - sandals with socks and this time with pink socks acquired last year at Topshop.

שמלה H&M (ישנה), גרביים מהמשביר לצרכן, סנדלים זארה, שרשרת מצ'יינטאון במילאנו



כפי שניתן לראות, אני עמוק בתוך אווירת האביב, מנסה לקחת חלק בחגיגת הפריחה ועדיין מהופנטת לחלוטין מהעצים המתהדרים בתפרחת וורדרדה-סגלגלה. עם זאת, מזג האוויר עוד לא חם לגמרי ומדי בוקר מתעוררת סוגיית הנעליים (והגרביים): מצד אחד, הסנדלים קורצים ממקום משכנם בארון ומשתוקקים לעטר כבר את כפות הרגליים. מצד שני, הרגליים עוד לא ממש מוכנות לקיץ (מי אמר לבן ולא קיבל?) וגם עדיין לא תוכלנה להתמודד עם הקרירות השוררת בחוץ. הפתרון: סנדלים עם גרביים!
כן, אני יודעת שהקונספט הזה קצת קשה לעיכול במחוזותינו והמחשבה על הצירוף מעלה מיד מילים כמו: "עולה חדש", "גלותי", "נחנח", אבל נראה לי שהגיעה העת להניח לסטריאוטיפים ולחקור אלטרנטיבות חדשות - באמצעות בחירת הסנדלים הנכונים והגרביים המתאימות, כמובן. הפריטים הנכונים מבחינתי היו הפעם סנדלי t-bar בגוון אפרפר וגרביים אפורות המגיעות כמעט עד הברך ומעוטרות בסרט קטן ומתוק (אני סאקרית של דיטיילים, אין מה לעשות!).

ולמי שמתעניין, כמובן שלא חסרים רעיונות ואפשרויות לבישה כפי שהודגמו בתצוגות האופנה של קיץ 2010 וסתיו 2010. לפי מה שנראה על המסלולים גרביים בגוונים אפורים למיניהם הן ההימור הנכון והכדאי, אבל באופנה כמו באופנה, הכל הולך:

שיהיה סופ"ש נעים לכם ולכפות רגליכם! ותודה לאריאלה על הצילומים.

As you can see, I am still in the spring mood, trying to take part in the blossoming celebration around me and still mesmerised by the blooming purple/pink trees. But it is not completely hot yet and each morning I wake up and stand before the same shoe (and socks) issue: On the one hand, all my sandals can hardly wait to be put on, smiling at me, with all their peep-toes, t-bars and straps, form the bottom of the closet. And on the other hand, my legs aren't quite ready for summer (still a bit too pale) and also I'm not sure my toes will be able to brave the somewhat chilly weather. The solution: wearing sandals with socks!

If you're not Israeli I should note here that Israelis are a bit weird about wearing sandals with socks. It is a cultural thing and has to do with Israel being a country which gathered (and still gathers) jewish immigrants from all over the world. Those immigrants brought customs which the native Israelis were not familiar with, such as wearing sandals with socks. These costums made the newcomers the subject of ridicule, but that was a long time ago and I think now a good time to leave the stereotypes aside and explore new possibilities. And this can be done by choosing the right sandals and the right socks, of course!
A variety of options for wearing sandals with socks were exhibited at the spring-summer2010 and fall2010 runway shows, and looks like grey socks are a good way to go this spring, but, as in fashion, everything goes, as long as you make it work!
