Hi!  Haven't been around lately... I'm working my butt off and really don't do much other than work. I know, it's bad. I just get home so tired and just don't have the energy. Plus it's so so hot around here, you can barely walk outside without sweating bullets. This is also not god for the fashion inspiration.
So I decided to look a bit far away, and find some inspiration in a few ladies who live fashion and who reside in climates that allow them too.
Most of what you see above can absolutely NOT be worn in Israel between the months of May-November, but I just like to look at this pictures and build imaginary copycat outfits for my imaginary life. Hehe... and check out also Solange knowles's pic on the bike. How cute is she??

היי! לא הייתי כאן הרבה זמן... אני פחות או יותר קבורה בעבודה ואין לי ממש חיים - אני מגיעה מהעבודה כל כך עייפה שאני פשוט סוגרת את הבאסטה מוקדם ולא מצליחה להגיע לבלוג. חבל! חוצמזה שאנחנו באמצע המיץ של הקיץ, החום כל כך כבד שלאף אחד אין חשק להתלבש (אפילו לי מדי פעם) ולא להתעסק באופנה - ואני לגמרי מבינה את זה.
אבל בכל זאת, החלטתי לחפש השראה במחוזות אחרים ובחרתי כמה אאוטפיטים קייציים שהתאהבתי בהם מאוד. כן כן, אני יודעת שבמחוזותינו ווסט מעור+מגפונים, או סוודר קצר שרוולים ממש לא ראויים אפילו להתייחסות בתור בגדי קיץ, אבל זה כל מה שנחמד במלבושים האלה. שהם ממש לא מציאותיים עבורנו.
שימו לב לאאוטפיט של סולאנג' כשהיא מדוושת על האופניים - כמה מתוק, לא?

breeze

July is always a hard one: temps are rising high, and if unfortunately you're not on vacation (like moi) you're either waiting desperately for your vacation to come, or reminiscing about your last holiday, but maily working hard.
So, conditions require very light and flimsy outfits: mainly short shorts, skirts and sleeveless everything.
While wearing this I have managed to feel a slight breeze and I think those cool blue colors I put on myself plus the white as snow heels did the trick. Even if they just cooled me in my imagination.
Gotta get myself a new sleeveless denim blouse because this one's almost disintegrating as a result of too much wear. Any ideas?

יולי הוא תמיד חודש קשה: הטמפרטורות בשיאן ואם למרבה הצער אתם לא מתוכננים לצאת לחופש החודש - כמוני - אז סביר להניח שאתם מחכים בקוצר רוח לחופשה העתידית או מתרפקים בנוסטלגיה על הנופש האחרון.
ובזמן שאנו מחכים להפוגה הבאה אפשר להתלבש, אבל לא ביותר מדי דברים כי תנאי השטח לא מאפשרים.
צו השעה הוא מכנסונים, חצאיות קצרות, חצאיות-מכנס וכל חלק עליון שאינו כולל את האלמנט המכונה: "שרוולים".
בהתחשב בכל המגבלות הנ"ל יצרתי לי אאוטפיט שאפילו הצליח לצנן אותי, גם אם בדמיוני בלבד, בחצי מעלה לפחות: תלבושת המורכבת מגוונים קרירים של כחול, ונעליים לבנות וצחות כשלג שהן הלהיט האחרון.

outfit

An outfit I've been meaning to post here for quite sometime but for some reason never got to until now. Yeah it happens to me a lot... Anyways, here's a cute combo suitable for spring: I'm wearing here a light dusty pink, suede-like, perforated (you're gonna have to trust me on this one) dress under an olive green safari vest.
Army / safari vests are not really hard to find lately, and here's a great one from zara (which I'm trying hard to ignore) and while browsing online I also found a dress very similar to the one I'm wearing here in the spring-summer collection of mango. great transition piece.

זה אאוטפיט שכבר רציתי מזמן לפרסם אבל לא הגעתי אליו, קורה לי הרבה, יש לי מחברת שבה אני רושמת אאוטפיטים ונסיונות אופנתיים שעשיתי ע"מ שאוכל לשחזר בבלוג אבל מה שבפועל קורה הוא שרשומים בה כמה עשרות אאוטפיטים שאני פשוט לא מספיקה לתעד ואז מגיעים אאוטפיטים חדשים שקוטעים לי את חוט המחשבה... צרות אופנתיות!
ולעניינינו, אני לובשת כאן שמלה קייצית וקלילה דמוית זמש מחורר (תצטרכו להאמין למילה שלי בעניין הזה) בצבע וורדרד עתיק ומעליה וסט ספארי בצבע ירוק זית. אני מאוד אוהבת את השילוב הצבעוני הזה שאפשר ללבוש אותו בדרכים ובווריאציות שונות. ווסטים בהשראה צבאית נפוצים מאוד בחנויות העונה (הנה אחד מוצלח מזארה שאני מנסה להתעלם מקיומו) ושמלה וורדרדה מחוררת מאוד דומה לזו שאני לובשת מצאתי גם בקולקציית הקיץ של מנגו.

who's that girl?

Here are some pics of me and Lola (remember her from that post?) enjoying a nice weekend stroll. Lola went for the natural look and accessorized herself with a green collar and red leash (cool color combo!), whereas I chose a white peter pan collar blouse underneath a fuzzy salmon colored sweater.
This time I combined the sweet (but not as sweet as Lola) top with an edgy snake print skinny jeans as a bit of a contrast, and threw in one more animal print for the sake of print-mixing and mainly just for fun.

הנה אני ולולה - זוכרים אותה מהפוסט הזה? - בטיול מהנה של סוף שבוע. לולה במראה הטבעי, מאובזרת בקולר ירקרק ורצועה אדומה (יופי של שילוב צבעים) ואני במראה הפלאפי עם סוודר שעיר בצבע סלמון ומתחתיו חולצה לבנה מכופתרת בעלת צווארון מעוגל.
ולא שהייתה כאן איזושהיא תחרות או משהו כזה אבל ברור שגוש המתיקות ההולך על ארבע לוקח בענק אפילו עשרה צווארוני פיטר פן ועוד עשרים סוודרים רכים ופרוותיים. כי אין מה לעשות, בעלי חיים וילדים גונבים את ההצגה. ובצדק רב!
החולצה הלבנה הפכה חיש קל לשידוך האולטימטיבי לסוודר הזה, והפעם הוספתי להם כקונטרסט ג'ינס סקיני בגווני כחול-אפרפר בעל הדפס קשקשי נחש עדין. התיק המנומר מוסיף עוד הדפס חייתי לחגיגה ולוקח אותנו אל המחוזות המסוכנים (booh!) של שילובי הדפסים, אבל בעיני הוא תוספת אלמנטרית לאאוטפיט סופ"ש רגוע וכייפי.
תודה לאריאל על הצילומים ותודה גם ללולה המקסימה, שהסכימה להעמיד פנים שהיא שלי למשך מספר דקות. בעידוד של כמה חטיפי כלבים והוראות מהבעלים המהממת שלה שעמדה מטר וחצי מאיתנו. כמובן.

כמה חיכיתי ללבוש את הסוודר הזה... הבאתי אותו מחו"ל באמצע אוגוסט (יחד עם החצאית שמצולמת כאן ועוד איזה מיליון כמה דברים) והוא אחד הפריטים שהכי קרצו לי בארון וממש התגרו בי במשך שלושה חודשים ארוכים. נו טוב, סופסוף הגענו לרגע המאפשר ללבוש אותו. בשעות הערב... אבל אני לא מתלוננת!
את הנעליים הוספתי למלתחה לפני זמן מה, בעיקר מתוך המחשבה שרצועת קרסול היא דבר שאיננו מספיק מוערך ולא מקבל תשומת לב בכמות הנאותה (אצלי בארון ובכלל) ומבחינתי משהו שמוסיף כל כך הרבה לחינניות ולעדינות של הרגל ראוי לפחות לתמונת תקריב הולמת.

Oh how I've waited to wear this sweater... I brought it from my trip to Warsaw in the middle of August (among the leather skirt in this outfit and a million few more other items) and it is one of the garments that really taunted my from the back of the closet, until winter (if you can call this winter) finally arrived here. But, no complaints - me and Mr. sweater have finally united!
I added these shoes to my wardrobe a while ago, mainly since I came to the realization that ankle straps are way underrated (in my closet and in general) and such lovely things that adds so much to the delicacy and beauty of the legs should be celebrated and at least receive a proper close up.

שמלת תחרה Emma Ro, ג'קט ג'ינס בסגנון אופנוענים זארה (משנה שעברה), סנדלים טופשופ

בשבוע האחרון לא הרגשתי הכי טוב בעולם אז פינקתי את עצמי בדברים בסיסיים ומנחמים: לחמניה חמימה עם חתיכות אבוקדו, עגבניות שרי תמר מקסימות (נראה לי שכבר דיברתי כאן על תיאורית ה-happy tomato day שלי ועל כך שעגבניה טובה יכולה לרומם פלאים את מצב הרוח), קראתי בשקיקה את הספר החמוד והקולח "לאכול, להתפלל, לאהוב" של אליזבת גילברט - אני יודעת שאני קצת בדיליי ואוטוטו יוצא הסרט אבל טוב שהתעכבתי כי הספר הזה התאים לי השבוע בול, וכמובן לבשתי את פריטי הבייסיק שלי לעונה זו.
שמלת התחרה הזו היא אחד מהפריטים הנשלפים ביותר מהארון שלי בשבועות האחרונים, אליה מצטרף ג'קט ג'ינס כלשהו וסנדלים או נעליים בהתאם למצב הרוח ולמזג האוויר. התחרה הצליחה למצוא פינה חמה בליבי והיא משתלטת על כל מ"ר (או שיותר נכון לומר סמ"ר) פנוי בארון. תחרה גם מתוכננת להיות המוטיב העקרי בשמלה שאלבש לחתונה של אחי, אשר נתפרת ברגעים אלה ממש באטלייה יערה קידר (מקום מקסים ועתיר תחרות גם הוא!). אני כמובן אציג אותה כאן כשיגיע הזמן המתאים אז יש למה לצפות...
שיהיה לכולם שבוע נעים ונינוח!

I wasn't feeling so great the last few days so I trearted myself to some comfort food which to me is a nice warm bun with big slices of avocado (not always but that's what I wanted this time) and amazing cherry tomatos. I have this theory that whenever I find a really good, red and sweet tomato, it immediately lifts my spirit and I have a "good tomato day" - that seriously works... I also read the cutest book "EAT, PRAY, LOVE" by Elizabeth Gilbert - I know I'm a little behind on that, and even the movie is coming up soon, but I'm glad I waited because this book was perfect for the week I had. I also wore my 'basic' items for the season.
This lace dress is one of the items that are 'most likely to be pulled out of my closet' lately and is usually accompanied by a denim jacket of some sort and shoes or sandals, depends on my mood and the weather. Lace has definitely become one of my favorite fabrics and it is even going to be a key element in the dress that I'm going to wear for my brother's wedding and which a lovely and talented designer named Ya'ara Keydar is making me. I'll write more about it and show you some pictures in due time, so stay tuned...
