summer style

Hi there!
How have you guys been doing? enjoying your summer vacation? planning it? counting down for it (like me?) ?
Hope you're having fun either way. Here's a little fun summer getup I decided to wear this weekend. Nothing new, had most of the things for a few years now and it feels nice to wear stuff over and over again till you feel they are really "worth it".
Haven't had this feeling in a long time. I can't find anything that exciting or interesting in the stores. Everything seems a bit "off" and not exactly what I'm looking for so I usually take a pass and go back home empty handed. But no worries, I have a nice big closet to come back to and comfort me.
And what about you? emptying the sale racks? finding good bargains? do tell!

תלבושת חמודה וכייפית לסיים איתה את השבוע או להתחיל את השבוע החדש, איך שתרצו להסתכל על זה.
שום דבר כאן לא חדש, וכבר לבשתי אותה כמה פעמים בעבר, בווריאציות קלות.
די נחמד לחפור בארון וללבוש שוב אותם פריטים עד שמרגישים שהם באמת היו "שווים את זה".
הרגשה שלא הרגשתי מזמן - שום דבר בחנויות לא ממש מפתה או מרגש אותי ובעיקר לא נראה ששווה את הכסף, גם אם מדובר בסכום קטן יחסית. בתקופה האחרונה קשה לגרום לי להוציא את הארנק.
משהו בתפירה, בסוג הבד, בצבע או בסגנון הכללי שהוא "ליד" או "בערך" מה שאני מחפשת אבל לא בדיוק.
וכדבריו האלמותיים של ע.לידר, אני מעדיפה להישאר עם כלום מאשר לבחור ב"כמעט".
טוב, זה לא שאין לי ארון עמוס בכל טוב לחזור אליו הביתה ולהתנחם בו...
ומה אצלכם? מפרקים את מדפי הסיילים? מעמיסים מכל הבא ליד ומוצאים דילים טובים? do tell!
הספירה לאחור לקראת חופשת הקיץ התחילה, מקווה שאצליח להכניס בקרוב איזה פוסט או שניים בנושא.

In contrary to what you might think, I'm not very good with "the sales". Usually I don't find such great stuff, it's too crowded, and all the things I'm really interested in are already sold-out or just never go on sale.
But the last sales were surprisingly good to me: I found this lovely boucle motorcycle jacket (another interesting version of this coat?), last one on the rack, for a whopping 50% off. how great is that? 1-fashionpea, 0-sales.
Or actually everybody wins?
Combined my new find with rather old stuff from my closet and that's what I wore to work on Sunday, before the weather got completely crazy over here and the only thing I could resort to was my puffer. And maybe a boat?? ;)

בניגוד למה שאתם אולי חושבים על שועלת שופינג ערמומית שכמוני, אני די גרועה בסיילים.
בדר"כ לא מצליחה למצוא דברים שווים בסייל, אווירת ההיסטריה והדוחק לא ממש נעימים לי, והפריטים שאני הכי מעוניינת בהם לרוב נמכרו כבר מזמן לפני שההנחות התחילו או שמשום מה דווקא עליהם אין שום הנחה. אפילו לא שקל.
לשמחתי הסייל האחרון דווקא הפתיע לטובה והצלחתי למצוא את ג'קט האופנוענים הנהדר הזה (טייק אוף על המעיל-ג'קט הזה?), אחרון על הקולב (!) במחצית ממחירו המקורי. הידד! אפונה-1 סיילים-0.
או שבעצם כולם זוכים?
שילבתי את המציאה החדשה עם שאר פריטים לא-כל-כך-חדשים מהארון וכך יצאתי טובה ושמחת לב לעבודה ביום ראשון, לפני שטירוף מזג האוויר החל ואז כבר לא היתה ברירה אלא לעבור רשמית למעיל פוך puffer שלי...
המשך שבוע טוב ויבש!

mirror mirror on my nose

Another fun and casual weekend outfit. I promise you the next outfit post will be more "tailored". And I can easily promise that since we already took pictures of it...
This is how I usually like to dress during the weekend and during my (very little) free time: wear something comfy and colorful.
I have had this scarf for almost a decade, and it instantly gives me good mood when I put it on. This time it matched perfectly with my new mirrored sunglasses, which I fell head over heels for, and managed to wait two whole days from the moment I first laid eyes on them to the moment I finally got them. #fashiongirlproblem
And ever since we got together, the world is so pretty, happy, full of opportunities, and looks beautiful in pink neon colors.
What can I say? Sometimes you gotta look at the world through colored lenses.

עוד מראה קז'ואלי וכיפי לסופ"ש. מבטיחה שהלוק הבא יהיה יותר "מעונב" (ברור, כי כבר צילמתי אותו).
אלה סוג התלבושות אליהן אני נוטה בדרך כלל בסופי שבוע ובזמני הפנוי, שלא מצוי בשפע, אבל אני מנסה לנצל אותו ולעשות אותו יותר נעים באמצעות שילובי צבעים והדפסים לא שגרתיים.
הצעיף הזה נמצא ברשותי כבר כמעט עשור, ותמיד עושה לי מצברוח טוב כשאני מתעטפת בו. הפעם הוא התאים בול לזוג משקפי השמש החדשים שהתאהבתי בהם נואשות והצלחתי להחזיק מעמד יומיים תמימים (!) מהרגע שראיתי אותם לראשונה, עד שראיתי אותם נחים על האף שלי. מקווה שאין לכם ספק שהופגן פה איפוק רב.
ומאז שהתאחדנו העולם כולו יפה, שמח, מלא הזדמנויות, וצבוע בצבעי ניאון ורודים זרחניים.
אולי זה בגלל העדשות הצבעוניות.
ואולי לא ;)
